Circuit of the Americas
Circuit of the Americas is the only purpose-built Formula 1 racing facility in the United States, opened in 2012 on 1,500 acres southeast of Austin. The 3.4-mile track hosts the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix each October, drawing 400,000+ fans across race weekend, along with MotoGP, IndyCar, and major concert events headlined by acts like Taylor Swift and Beyoncé. The venue's Tower Observation Deck stands 251 feet above Turn 1 and offers views across the entire circuit.
Bus and charter vehicle access during major events is coordinated through COTA's event transportation operations — review the COTA transportation page well before your visit to confirm drop-off and staging details, as access routes and lot assignments shift by event.
